Saskatchewan Forage Council Names New President

The Saskatchewan Forage Council named Mervin-area rancher Mark McNinch to the position of President, at last week’s annual general meeting in Saskatoon. Joining Mark on the executive committee will be newly-appointed Vice-President Jeremy Brown, a custom grazer who works as an agrologist for Ducks Unlimited out of North Battleford.

The organization welcomes three new faces to its board of directors: rancher and grain farmer Autumn Lynn from Marquis, dairy producer Paul Kernaleguen from St. Brieux and forage producer and Swift Current Creek Watershed Stewards ED Kevin Steinley, from Rush Lake. The afternoon meeting was preceded by a tour at the Discovery Farm, co-hosted by SFC Gold Sponsor Proven Seed. Read the full press release here.
